Sunday, the legal authorities in Ajloun sentenced the owner of a PlayStation gaming center to four months in prison for violating Defense Law by serving shisha to customers.

June 22, the Minister of Interior Samir Al-Mobaideen, directed the all governors Monday to close down establishments which serve shisha, arrest the owners, and impose a judicial guarantee of a JD 100,000 bailout fee for all violators.

Nov. 17, Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh announced that restaurants and cafes will no longer be permitted to serve shisha in light of the pandemic.
