The Ramtha Health Affairs Director Ikhlas al-Saad said the main coronavirus vaccination center located in the Ramtha Comprehensive Health Center witnessed a huge turnout of citizens Sunday. She added that approximately 880 people registered on the Ministry of Health's official online vaccination platform.

Saad explained that 230 citizens showed up at the health center up until 12pm and the number will continue to go up until the facility closes at 3pm.

Regarding the new vaccination procedures and centers, Saad pointed out that due to the large number of people who wish to get vaccinated and the small space allocated in Ramtha, the Ramtha Health Affairs Directorate decided to set up an additional tent to receive the citizens for vaccinations and prevent overcrowding.

Saad called on citizens to register for vaccination if they have not already and stressed that all COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. She added that all vaccine side effects are better that needing to be hospitalized due to contracting coronavirus.
