The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced Friday that it will change the official working hours in all banks across Jordan to start from 8am and until 2:30pm starting Sunday. The CBJ added that banks will serve the public from 8:30am until 1:30pm.

This amendment came due to the extension of curfew hours in Jordan which start at 7pm for citizens, and 6pm for establishments, until 6am.
