The Highway Patrols Department Friday shared updates and details about the status of highways and road closures across the Kingdom, in light of the current unstable weather conditions.

In Aqaba, the department reported strong winds carrying a lot of dust resulting in limited visibility in al-Hamima area. Traffic was cut off from Ras al-Naqab station going towards Aqaba and from al-Quwaira Security Center going towards Amman.

In Ma'an, strong winds are carrying gravel and dust. Traffic has been cut off from the al-Hasa and Al-Husseiniyeh areas going towards the south.

In al-Azraq, lack of visibility due to dust has been reported within the Omari jurisdiction. Traffic at Al-Omari station has been cut off in both directions

The Highway Patrols Department called on drivers to follow all instructions for their safety. They were also advised to contact the Operations Room at the Highway Patrols Department for any inquiries.
