Thursday, a slight drop in temperatures is expected and dusty weather conditions will prevail across the Kingdom, causing poor visibility, mainly in the Badia regions, with clouds at different altitudes, announced the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

At night, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold air mass accompanying a depression centered over Syria, bringing partly cloudy weather with a chance of spotty showers in the northern and central highlands, the JMD added.

Rainfall is expected to become heavier after midnight accompanied by thunder and hail at times.

The JMD warned of slippery roads, flood formation in valleys and lowlands, including the Dead Sea and low visibility.

Temperatures in Amman Thursday will reach 19 degrees Celsius, dropping to eight Celsius at night. In Aqaba it will reach 29 degrees Celsius, dropping to 16 degrees Celsius during the night hours.

Friday, temperatures will continue to drop, bringing cold weather conditions in most parts of the Kingdom.

However, temperatures will rise a few degrees Saturday, bringing pleasant weather conditions in most areas of the country, the JMD said.
