The Public Security Directorate (PSD) Wednesday called on citizens to beware of the expected weather depression that will soon affect Jordan. Citizens are advised to follow the instructions issued by the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) for their safety.

The CDD advised citizens to drive slowly and with caution due to limited visibility because of the dust, in order to prevent traffic accidents. Citizens should also stay away from valleys and low-lying areas were flooding could occur. Additionally, people should use all types of heaters safely and in well-ventilated areas.

The PSD spokesperson called on citizens not hesitate to call the 911 in emergency cases.

According to Arabia Weather, temperatures in Amman Thursday will range between 18 degrees Celsius during the day and nine degrees at night. A lot of dust is expected to hit the Kingdom along with very strong winds.

According to the weather source, people with asthma or other respiratory issues should be careful and avoid going outdoors.
