Due to the current COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom, the Higher Education Council announced that midterm exams during the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021 in Jordanian universities will be held online, except for courses that are already held in the university campus.
The council confirmed that the decision to hold exams remotely or in the university campus will depend on the health situation in Jordan.
Feb. 11, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that teaching in universities during the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021 will be held remotely. However, each university will decide whether practical and theoretical courses will be held remotely or in-person.
The ministry added that evaluation methods will be based on the COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom.
