A groom and a wedding planner were arrested in Irbid Sunday evening following defense order violations. 

According to what Irbid's governor Radwan Atoum told the Jordan News Agency (Petra), they held a wedding party attended by more than 100 people.

Atoum said that they did not abide by the required health and safety measures, and held a wedding that exceeded the permissible limit based on defense orders, which stipulate that gatherings should not exceed 20 people.
