Jordan records 35 deaths and 6,302 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 35 deaths and 6,302 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 427,717.

The death toll has risen to 4,935.

The cases are: 

- 3,672 in Amman

- 605 in Irbid, including 48 in Ramtha

- 536 in Balqa

- 266 in Zarqa

- 257 in Karak

- 213 in Aqaba

- 195 in Jerash

- 181 in Mafraq

- 144 in Madaba

- 95 in Ma'an

- 87 in Ajloun

- 51 in Tafilah

A total of 332 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 227 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 55,467 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 4,550 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 367,315.

There are 2,133 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 42,438 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,864,598.

Sunday, 14.85 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
