Jordan University Hospital suspends operations in outpatient clinics

Sunday, the Director General of Jordan University Hospital Islam Massad announced the suspension of operations in the hospital's outpatient clinics for a period of one week starting Monday.

This came due to the current COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom and the huge increase in the number of coronavirus cases.

Massad stressed that all previous appointments are canceled. However, those who wish to book new appointments, must register on the hospital’s online platform (http://hospital.ju.edu.jo).

Saturday, the Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat Saturday announced the suspension of operations in outpatient clinics in hospitals across the Kingdoms including Al-Bashir Hospitals, Jameel Al Totanji Hospital, the New Salt Hospital, Al-Hussein Hospital, the New Zarqa Governmental Hospital, Prince Faisal Hospital, and Al-Nadeem Hospital, as of Sunday and until further notice.

Eariler Saturday, the management of the Zarqa Governmental Hospital Saturday decided to suspend operations in the hospital's outpatient clinics and cancel all surgeries scheduled starting Sunday. The hospital will only receive emergency cases and patients with chronic diseases who come in to take their monthly supply of medication.
