The Ministry of Health (MoH) said that more than 22,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines will be administered to those registered on MoH’s online platform Sunday.

The MoH added that 20,000 people will receive the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 2,500 people will receive the second dose.

Feb. 3, the MoH announced that the number of people registered to receive a coronavirus vaccine reached 419,405 in Jordan.

The ministry said that Jordan has the capacity to vaccinate 20,300 people per day.

The ministry indicated that the Kingdom has 11,628 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and 3,068 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

The MoH added that currently 39 vaccination centers are operating across Jordan.

Jan. 13, Jordan began its national COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
