MoH suspends operations in outpatient clinics of seven hospitals

The Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat Saturday announced the suspension of operations in outpatient clinics in hospitals across the Kingdoms including Al-Bashir Hospitals, Jameel Al Totanji Hospital, the New Salt Hospital, Al-Hussein Hospital, the New Zarqa Governmental Hospital, Prince Faisal Hospital, and Al-Nadeem Hospital, as of Sunday and until further notice.

According to the ministry's press release, the health service provided to citizens in these facilities will be limited to receiving emergency cases and dispensing monthly medication for patients with chronic diseases.

According to the statement, scheduled surgeries were also canceled due to the current COVID-19 situation.

The Ministry called on citizens to abide by defense orders in order to prevent further spreading of COVID-19.
