Friday, the Public Prosecutor of the Northern Jordan Valley arrested a groom and an event planner for hosting a week-long party, therefore violating the provisions of the defense law and the orders issued pursuant to it.

The 'henna' party that was organized Thursday evening, hosted 150 guests in the nothern Jordan Valley area.

A week long party violates the measures in place which aim to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

Notably, on March. 3, 300 people were arrested in Zarqa for partaking in wedding, and on March. 4, three grooms were arrested following defense order violations.
