Friday, the municipality of Russeifa, Zarqa announced that they intend to establish an eco-park project in the district, valuing at JD 250,000 given by the Ministry of Environment as a part of environmental enhancement in the Kingdom.

Additionally, they will implement the remaining stages of construction of dirt playgrounds, halls, family areas, and planting trees, valuing at JD 1.5 million so that the park can be ready by August 2021.

Following recent agreements with the Ministry of Local Administration, the municipality started the work of leveling the land allocated for the environmental park. 

The mayor of Russeifa, Osama Haymour, said that according to the recent agreement with the Ministry of Local Administration and the diligent follow-up by the municipality, all government vehicles that were occupying large areas of the park’s lands, which were hindering and delaying the start of the project, had been removed.
