The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Al-Khalaileh announced that worshippers can go to mosques during the Friday lockdown from 11:40 AM to 12:40 PM.

He reminded worshippers that attending mosque prayers can only be done by foot.

In statements, Al-Khalaileh stressed the need to adhere to public safety measures related to tackling the coronavirus pandemic, such as wearing a face mask, social distancing, and bringing a personal prayer mat.
