Monday evening, security services in the Zarqa governorate arrested 300 people who participated in a wedding ceremony in the Birain area of Zarqa, according to the local governor Hijazi Assaf.

Assaf explained to Roya that the ceremony was held in a farm in Birain, where the groom arrived by helicopter.

He pointed out that the groom was transferred to a security center to be referred to the judiciary for violating defense orders which have been set to tackle the repercussions of the pandemic.

Assaf also confirmed that searches are underway for the owner of the farm.
