Jordan records 25 deaths and 2,584 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 25 deaths and 2,584 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 386,496.

The death toll has risen to 4,675.

The cases are: 

- 1,772 in Amman

- 200 in Balqa

- 188 in Irbid, including 10 in Ramtha

- 155 in Zarqa

- 72 in Madaba

- 52 in Mafraq

- 22 in Ma'an, including 10 in Petra

- 14 in Aqaba

- 65 in Jerash

- 25 in Ajloun

- 19 in Karak

A total of 192 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 44 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 35,534 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 2,447 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 346,287.

There are 1,424 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 26,452 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,566,735.

Saturday, 9.77 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
