A US intelligence report concluded Friday that the Saudi Crown Prince approved an operation to 'capture or kill' Jamal Khashoggi, who was murdered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018. 

The US Congress ordered the release of the long-awaited report in 2019, but the Donald Trump administration, friendly to MBS, held back. 

Saudi officials have denied that they were at all involved in the killing of Khashoggi, a longtime critic of the Saudi government.
