Jordan records 23 deaths and 3,644 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 23 deaths and 3,644 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 383,912.

The death toll has risen to 4,650.

The cases are:

-2,432 in Amman

-275 in Irbid, including 30 in Ramtha

-102 in Madaba

-48 in Aqaba

-35 in Mafraq

-23 in Karak

-329 in Zarqa

-243 in Balqa

-65 in Jerash

-40 in Tafilah

-34 in Ajloun

-18 in Ma'an, including one in Petra

A total of 270 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 189 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 35,422 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,240 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 343,840.

There are 1,250 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 33,719 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,510,000.

Friday, 12.03 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
