Wednesday, a total of 12 facilities have been shut down in Jordan, including six in Amman, three in Balqa, one in Irbid, one in Jerash and one in Ajloun, following defense order violations.

Specialized committees conducted inspection tours around these governorates to ensure that stores, establishments, restaurants, and other facilities are adhering to the defense orders.

The necessary legal and administrative measures were taken against all violating facilities.

Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued Defense Order No. 26 Wednesday, which stipulates the adherence to social distancing and the wearing of masks.
