Jordan has recorded 22 deaths and 4,024 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 376,441.
The death toll has risen to 4,611.
The cases are:
- 2,726 in Amman
- 394 in Balqa
- 283 in Irbid, including 29 in Ramtha
- 108 in Karak
- 67 in Madaba
- 48 in Ma'an, including three in Petra
- 38 in Ajloun
- 158 in Zarqa
- 79 in Jerash
- 53 in Aqaba
- 42 in Mafraq
- 28 in Tafilah
A total of 232 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 136 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 30,809 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 1,807 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 341,021.
There are 1,178 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 36,073 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,476,281.
Wednesday, 11.16 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
