Wednesday, a young man in his twenties died in the Al-Marj area in the Karak governorate, after he was hit by a live bullet in his chest.

The head of the forensic medicine department at Karak Governmental Hospital, Hassan Al-Hawari, said that the young man arrived at the hospital, and died due to severe hemorrhaging as a result of a tear on the left side of his heart and lungs.

The reason for his shooting was not disclosed.

Authorities stated that investigations are currently underway.
