The governors of Zarqa, Karak and Ma'an Wednesday placed eight COVID-19 patients (five, two and one respectively) in field hospitals to complete their self-isolation periods after they violated home quarantine measures. All individuals will have to cover the cost of the mandatory institutional quarantine and will be referred to the judiciary afterwards.

The Ministry of Interior continues to follow up with COVID-19 patients to ensure compliance with home quarantine measures and defense orders.
