Most COVID-19 cases recorded among 25-34 age group: MoH

The Ministry of Health Tuesday issued official data about COVID-19 in Jordan showing that, up until week seven of 2021, 52 percent of people who tested positive for coronavirus are males and 48 percent females.

As for age groups, the highest number of cases was recorded among 25-34 year-olds and the lowest among children under five years of age.

The occupancy rate of regular isolation beds stood at 22 percent, ICU beds at 23 percent and ventilators at nine percent.

Most COVID-19 cases were recorded in Amman, followed by Irbid then Zarqa. Below is the chart shared on the ministry’s website:
