Monday, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that fire brigades from the Civil Defense Directorate dealt with a fire that broke out inside a warehouse containing sponge materials and sofa fabrics in the Qweismeh area.

No injuries were reported.

The warehouse has an area estimated at 800 square meters.

Firefighting teams worked to extinguish the fire, and prevented it from spreading to neighboring areas.

The fire however, caused intense smoke due to the high flammability of the materials burned.

According to the PSD, a committee was formed in order to determine the cause of the fire.
