Sunday, the governor of Mafraq Yasser Al-Adwan told Roya that two people were arrested for breaking home-quarantine measures during inspection tours of the governorate.

Adwan added that they were transferred to a field hospital to complete the quarantine, and then will be referred to the judiciary to take the appropriate action against them.

On Feb. 16, the Minister of Interior Samir al-Mubaidin said those who break home quarantine rules must be found and placed in one of the field hospitals for the remainder of the quarantine period at their own expense.

Mubaidin noted that after the isolation period is over, the cases will be referred to court for the appropriate legal action to be taken, based on the provisions of Defense Order No. 8.
