Jordan records 11 deaths and 3,917 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 11 deaths and 3,917 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 363,728.

The death toll has risen to 4,554.

The cases are:

-2,642 in Amman

-404 in Balqa

-313 in Irbid

-99 in Zarqa

-65 in Karak

-41 in Ajloun

-33 in Ma'an, including seven in Petra

-99 in Madaba

-87 in Jerash

-62 in Aqaba

-40 in Mafraq

-32 in Tafilah

A total of 176 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 121 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 23,298 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,685 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 335,976.

There are 986 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 25,108 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,371,522.

Sunday, 15.6 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
