Sunday, Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh ordered that online learning should remain as an option for univerity and school students until the end of the second semester. This came after the Kingdom has been witnessing an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.

The Ministry of Education issued a statement stressing that the first three grades and Tawjihi students are excluded from the decision. 

On Feb. 7, students began returning to schools across Jordan after months of closures and distance education.
