The Ministry of Education Saturday announced that, due to the current COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom, 10th and 11 grade students' return to in-class education has been postponed for one week and until (Feb. 28). Therefore, these students will continue learning through distance education for one more week.

In a statement, the ministry added that other students who have already returned to in-class education at the beginning of the second semester will continue going to schools.

The statement explained that continuation of in-class education depends on the COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom. The ministry stressed that health monitoring campaigns and daily inspections will continue in all public and private schools to ensure compliance with the health and safety protocols.
