The Minister of Water and Irrigation Motasem Saidan Saturday said the recent snow and rainfall has increased the water reserve of Jordan's 14 main dams to a total of 141.370 million cubic meters, which is 42.02 percent of their total capacity of 336.4 million cubic meters.
The dams' storage this time last year was 166.09 million cubic meters, which is 49.37 percent of their total capacity. He added that the King Talal Dam has received the highest water quantities over the past 72 hours, which amounted to 5.22 million cubic meters.
