Thursday, snow covered the cities of Hebron and Ramallah in the Occupied West Bank for the first time in years. Snow also covered the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

The snowstorm began Wednesday evening, leading schools and offices to shut down across the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. 

Additionally, authorities shut down public transportation and blocked the main road to Jerusalem due to the harsh weather conditions.
