Wednesday, the Director of Operations at ArabiaWeather Osama Al-Tarifi talked to Roya about the latest developments in the polar depression and snowfall in Jordan.
Tarifi said that the northern areas witnessed heavy snowfall, especially Jerash and Ajloun, with snow accumulations which led to the closure of several roads.
He stressed that snowfall will extend into the early hours of Thursday. However, he said that during the coming hours, the chances of snowfall in the north will decrease.
Thursday, temperatures in Amman will range between four degrees during the day and two degrees at night, accompanied by snow during the day and rain showers at night.
