The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack in Erbil International Airport, which killed one person and injured others.

The Ministry's spokesperson Daifallah al-Fayez stressed that the Kingdom strongly condemns this 'cowardly terrorist act,' which aimed to undermine security and stability, and goes against all human values and principles.

Fayez reiterated Jordan's firm stance against all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism. He also extended his condolences to the victim's family and wished all those who were injured speedy recovery.
