Monday, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) stated that the northern military region thwarted an infiltration attempt from Syrian lands into Jordanian lands.

The source said both individuals retreated back to Syria and the JAF seized bags filled with crystal methamphetamines and 13 slabs of Hashish.

The source affirmed Jordan deals firmly and decisively with any infiltration or smuggling attempts in order to protect the borders and arrest those who tamper with national security.
