The pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca reported a total of USD 25.8 billion in product sales and a total revenue of USD 26.6 billion for the year 2020. This includes USD 7.4 billion in the fourth quarter alone, reported CNBC.

Chief Executive Officer Pascal Soriotast said last year’s numbers “marked a significant step forward for AstraZeneca. Despite the significant impact from the pandemic, we delivered double-digit revenue growth."

She added that the additional investment in new medicines in oncology and biopharmaceuticals helped grow their business.
