Gold prices rise by 50 piasters in Jordan Tuesday: JJS

Tuesday, the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS), announced that the prices of gold in the local market has risen by 50 piasters across the board.

The price of 21-carat gold (the most traded in Jordan), increased by 50 piasters for both consumers and goldsmiths, resulting in prices becoming JD 37.5 for selling, and JD 36 for purchasing by goldsmiths.

Additionally, one gram of 24-carat gold is JD 44.6 for consumers, and JD 41.6 for goldsmith purchasing, an increase of 50 piasters in comparison to Monday.

The price of a gram of 18-carat gold is JD 33.5 for sale, and JD 30.5 for goldsmith purchasing, also increasing by 50 piasters.
