Correction: Yesterday, it was misreported that all three missing bodies had been recovered, when only two had been found. Today, all have been recovered.

Saturday, Roya's correspondent reported that the three individuals missing in the Al-Ruwaished floods were found dead. The three individuals went missing early Friday after the vehicle they were in was swept away due to flooding in the west of Al-Ruwaished.

The governor of Mafraq Yasser Al-Adwan added that the brother of one of the missing individuals died during the search for the persons.

Eariler Friday, Adwan confirmed that the incident occurred at around 1:30 AM. He explained that civil defense teams came to the scene and waited for reinforcements to arrive due to the difficulty in searching for the missing persons in the geographical terrain in which the vehicle was found.

He noted that the area is "rugged" and difficult for vehicles to enter, adding that the people of the area are assisting civil defense teams in searching for the missing individuals.

Adwan indicated that the area in which the three individuals went missing in, is an uninhabited desert area.

Thursday, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) announced that the Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions.

Later Thursday, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), declared a state of moderate emergency due to the heavy rain which caused flooding and a rise in water levels.
