Thursday, Jordan will be affected by unstable weather conditions, bringing cold and partly cloudy weather with scattered showers, announced the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Rainfall is expected to be heavier with thunder storms and hail at times, causing flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, including the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD added.

The JMD warned of slippery roads in the areas experiencing rain, flood formation, risk of thunder storms, and poor visibility.

Temperatures in Amman Thursday will range between 14 degrees Celsius, dropping to six Celsius at night. In Aqaba it will reach 22 degrees Celsius, dropping to 14 degrees Celsius during the night hours.

Similar weather conditions are expected to prevail Friday.

Saturday, temperatures will rise few degrees, however, cold weather will continue to persist with light showers in several regions, the JMD added.
