Tuesday, the media spokesman for the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Nasser Al-Rahmaneh, confirmed that the Mayor of Amman Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, is infected with the coronavirus.

In a brief statement to Roya, Rahmaneh said that Shawarbeh has been in home isolation and has been working remotely since last Thursday.

He added that Shawarbeh is not suffering from any symptoms caused by the virus.
