The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has directed a financial grant to the Gaza Strip amounting to $360 million,  according to the official Qatar News Agency.

This grant comes within the framework of Qatar's continuous support for the Palestinian people besieged in the Gaza Strip. 

The grant will be used to pay employees' salaries, provide financial aid to families in need, and operate power stations to lessen the impact of the worsening humanitarian situation and the difficult living conditions in the Strip.
