IOF kills Palestinian man in Bethlehem

Sunday, a Palestinian young man was killed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the Gush Etzion south of Bethlehem in the West Bank.

According to Hebrew media, the young man was shot for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that "the Palestinian civil association officially informed the Ministry of Health of the martyrdom of a citizen whose identity was not yet known, after the occupation opened fire on him south of Bethlehem."

The Gush Etzion community near Bethlehem consists of twenty settlements, and an outpost.

Israeli Occupation settlements are illegal under international law.

Jan. 5, identical sources confirmed that a Palestinian was shot dead by an Israeli Occupation security officer.

The official Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said at the time that "the occupation forces shot at the 25-year-old Ahed Abd al-Rahman Qawqas al-Khalil from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
