Friday, an explosion was reported near the Israeli Occupation embassy in the Indian capital city of New Delhi, according to local media reports.

No staff members were injured, however, a number of cars were damaged due to the explosion. The police have closed off the roads leading to the embassy.

Police stated that the explosion took place at around 5:05pm. An improvised explosive device (IED), placed inside a flower pot, is suspected to be the cause of the explosion.

Investigations are currently underway.
