Jordanian wins first place in competition conducted by University of Sharjah

Wednesday, a professor at the World Islamic Sciences and Education University, Musa al-Qudah, won the first place in a competition conducted by the University of Sharjah for Islamic economics research, which was sponsored by Sheikh Sultan Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah and President of its University.

The director of the Sharjah Islamic Center for Economic and Finance Studies and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ibrahim Al-Mansoori, said in a statement that the committee has set strict and precise criteria to go through more than 113 papers in Arabic and English presented by researchers from different countries around the world, and it has undergone three stages of evaluation and arbitration in the fields of Sharia, law and economics. Qudah won the first place in the field of Sharia from the Sheikh Noah Al-Qudah College for Sharia and Law at the International Islamic Sciences University.

Qudah is an Associate Professor in Contemporary Islamic Financial Transactions. He has written more than twenty published papers and has participated in more than thirty international conferences.
