Jordan records 14 deaths and 870 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 14 deaths and 870 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 323,111.

The death toll has risen to 4,262.

The cases are:

-483 in Amman

-113 in Irbid, including 32 in Ramtha

-70 in Mafraq

-47 in Zarqa

-15 in Aqaba

-13 in Ajloun

-12 in Karak

-53 in Balqa

-36 in Jerash

-15 in Tafilah

-13 in Madaba

-Zero in Ma'an

A total of 49 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 51 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,769 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,075 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 311,080.

There are 391 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 24,763 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,784,233.

Wednesday, 3.51 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
