Palestine recorded 10 deaths and 660 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila Tuesday.

The new deaths involved two in the West Bank (Hebron), five in the Gaza Strip, and three in Jerusalem city.

The recovery rate in Palestine stands at 93.7 percent, while the active case rate is 5.2 percent and the death rate is 1.1 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 22 in Salfit; 71 in Nablus; 28 in the suburbs of Jerusalem; 18 in Tubas; 25 in Bethlehem; 76 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 13 in Tulkarm; five in Qalqilya; 22 in Hebron; 12 in Jenin; three in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 214 in the Gaza Strip, and 151 in Jerusalem city.

The recovery cases included 19 in Salfit; 24 in Nablus; zero in the suburbs of Jerusalem; 15 in Tubas; 19 in Bethlehem; 49 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 20 in Tulkarm; 10 in Qalqilya; 24 in Hebron, 18 in Jenin; seven in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 435 in the Gaza Strip, and 273 in Jerusalem city.

Currently, 66 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and 16 are on ventilators.

A total of 3,579 PCR tests were conducted.
