The Ministry of Education confirmed that it guarantees in-person classes will resume in February

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Education for Administrative Affairs Najwa Qubeilat told Amen FM that the ministry has a clear plan for welcoming students back to school, which is based on strict health protocols and takes all possible COVID-19 scenarios and developments into consideration.

However, Biden's spokeswoman said earlier that the new administration will not implement the decision issued by Trump to lift the ban on travelers to the United States from Brazil and most European countries.


The Czech Republic has begun training dogs to effectively sniff out COVID-19.

The dogs sniff at six vessels, each containing a piece of cloth with scent from patients with COVID-19, people who do not have COVID-19, and fake samples.

According to the dog trainers, there is a 95 percent success rate in COVID-19 detection.

They said the signature scent of the person changes "so much that it is immediately discernible for the dogs."


A slight rise in temperatures will be seen Tuesday in the Kingdom.
