Jordan records 15 deaths and 845 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 15 deaths and 845 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 321,298.

The death toll has risen to 4,239.

The cases are:

-471 in Amman

-176 in Irbid, including 28 in Ramtha

-36 in Balqa

-34 in Mafraq

-31 in Zarqa

-19 in Jerash

-16 in Karak

-16 in Tafilah

-14 in Aqaba

-13 in Ajloun

-12 in Madaba

-Seven in Ma'an, including one in Petra

A total of 56 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 62 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 8,176 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,176 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 308,883.

There are 383 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 23,980 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,735,138.

Monday, 3.52 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
