Monday, gold prices in the Kingdom’s local markets stabilized according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).
The JJS said that the selling price of 21-carat gold per gram, which is the most desired gold form by Jordanians, has stabilized at JD 37.70.
The selling price of a gram of gold for 24-carats and 18-carats are JD 44.80 and JD 33.60, respectively.
According to JJS, the demand for gold in the local market is still weak. Theyattributed this to the continued closure of event halls and the restrictions on celebratory events such as engagements and weddings.
