Sunday, the Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat, said that the number of cases that had been discovered so far of the mutated COVID-19 strain has reached 162 cases.

Obeidat told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the cases were discovered by conducting further tests to those who had confirmed COVID-19 infections through PCR tests.

On Dec. 27, Jordan confirmed the first two cases of the mutated COVID-19 strain.
