Jordan records seven deaths and 934 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded seven deaths and 934 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 320,453.

The death toll has risen to 4,224.

The cases are:

-539 in Amman

-148 in Irbid, including 16 in Ramtha

-82 in Balqa

-30 in Jerash

-29 in Mafraq

-23 in Zarqa

-20 in Aqaba

-19 in Ajloun

-16 in Madaba

-12 in Tafilah

-Nine in Karak

-Seven in Ma'an, including one in Petra

A total of 61 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 46 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 8,522 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,461 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 307,707.

There are 404 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 19,808 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,711,158.

Sunday, 4.72 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
